my bt option2 contract ends late jan 09. sky offer £5.00 monthly for b’band/sky talk (for existing sky tv customers). i dont exceed my downloading amounts but want to know if its beneficial long term to go for the cheaper monthly option with sky and if there general service i.e reliability is good. any ideas to who i should go for?
with all people using broadband it depends on how far u r from the exchange, i am quite far from it so every1 closer gets a better quality service and a faster speed than i do. i am on sky broadband now and apart from what ive just said, i have no problems with the broadband at all.
i am on the free broadband now, i was on the £5 a month but enquired about the free package and the only difference is that u have a usage limit, but been on it for about 5 months now and have had no problems with going over the usage allowance.
i have been with quite a few different broadband providers (mostly because of the lack of speed, to see if anyone one provider was better than another), but they were all the same, and for free with sky, i would highly recommend them.
hope this helps ur decision.
